Brook Street is excited to announce an opportunity for a Procurement Officer (Sourcing) in the vibrant Belfast City Centre!

This is your chance to play a vital role in ensuring our organisation operates efficiently and effectively by sourcing high-quality goods and services.

Position Details:

• Hours: 37.5 hours per week
• Pay: £12.86 per hour, paid weekly
• Band: 4

Key Responsibilities:

As a Procurement Officer, you will:

• Proactively review and source goods and services to ensure value for money.
• Manage the purchasing process, utilising tendering and quotation methods in line with HSCNI procedures.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, including European and British Standards.
• Provide expert purchasing advice to customers regarding their choices of goods and services.
• Resolve invoice queries with the HSCNI Finance Department to ensure prompt supplier payments.
• Liaise with suppliers and monitor their performance to uphold contractual obligations.
• Supervise and train as needed, fostering a collaborative work environment.

What We're Looking For:

To be considered for this role, you should have:

• Educational Qualifications: GCSE Mathematics and English (A* - C), plus two A Levels.
• Experience: At least 18 months of relevant business, commercial, or financial experience
