Exciting Opportunity: Band 3 Purchasing Officer in Ballymena!
Do you have experience in purchasing or administration? If so, this role could be for you!
Brook Street (UK) Ltd is seeking a Band 3 Procurement Officer for our public sector client in Ballymena. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy administration team for a minimum of 6 months, with the potential for extension.
Work Hours:
Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM (37.5 hours per week)
Rate of Pay:
£11.67 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Purchase goods and services in accordance with HSCNI procedures to achieve value for money.
- Act as the main point of contact for customers regarding procurement matters.
- Input, process, and validate procurement information accurately and efficiently.
- Resolve invoice queries alongside HSCNI Shared Services to ensure timely payments to suppliers.
- Liaise with BSO PaLS colleagues on procurement-related matters and participate in relevant groups.
- Assist in the development and implementation of procurement systems and protocols.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS Word.
- At least 1 year of administrative experience or 5 GCSEs at grade C and above, including English and Maths.
- Previous experience in procurement would be advantageous.
