Quality Assurance Officer
Job Description
Grade: Admin Officer (AO)
Location: Southport, PR8 2HH
Office Based: Hybrid could be accommodated dependant on business needs
Hourly rate: £12.84
Working Days/Hours: Monday to Friday 8am -4pm (37 hours per week)
Brook Street in partnership with the HMPO has a fantastic opportunity to join their GRO Team.
Daily Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Inputting, verifying and retrieving information from both manual and computer based systems.
  • Quality assurance of work within the teams including monitoring productivity.
  • Managing workflow, monitoring work, maintaining or deploying resource as required whilst identifying and resolving potential problems.
  • Investigating and following up queries using all information, systems or work tools available.
  • Work effectively within a fast paced multi-tasking team based environment to achieve team goals/targets.
  • Working flexibly and providing support to other operational colleagues / areas as required.
  • Resolving customer problems fairly and effectively seeking to improve the customer experience through continuous improvement.
  • To take responsibility for one's own personal attendance, performance and development.
  • To demonstrate and promote HMPO Values in all areas of work, and adhere, without question, to HMPO policies and procedures
  • Verifying information
  • Quality checking

Experience/ Skills

  • A sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Computer literate is essential
  • Flexibility as role involves working in different workstreams



Training:
The Passport Office require 100% office attendance for the duration of a 4 week training period. After this period Hybrid could be accommodated dependant on business needs
Please note that no annual leave will be permitted during the 4 weeks of training.
Role specific requirements:
You must hold a valid passport and must have lived in the UK for longer than 5 years. You can apply for the role with your CV. This role requires security clearance that will be processed for you, if successful.
