What Will Be Your Day to Day Tasks?

Administrative Officers are assigned to teams to carry out a variety of general administrative duties to progress cases through the court/tribunal system. To do so your duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Preparing papers and files for court, tribunals, hearings and meetings.
  • Producing court/tribunal documents.
  • General photocopying and filing.
  • Creating and updating records on in-house computer system and data input.
  • Post opening and dispatch.
  • Booking, preparing and organising meeting rooms.
  • Preparing meeting agenda, joining instructions and handouts.

You will also aid in clerking the courtroom, which will involve:

  • Assisting the judge and managing the courtroom, ensuring it runs smoothly and that everyone is in the right place at the right time.
  • Implementing any updates and informing the judge
  • Preparing all the case papers for the judge to make sure they are fully prepared for court.
