Job Description
My public sector client based in Telford is looking for an Administration Officer, to support their Mental Health Team. This is a short term temporary assignment with the potential for extension. Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm paying £13.00 p/hr, full time 37.00 hours a week
The successful candidate would be responsible for all administrative requirements for both new and current patient caseloads which includes liaison with other Medical Centres and outside agencies. The post holder will also be responsible for managing clinical diaries and clinics, answering telephone queries, booking medical documents in/out, dealing with the post, and sending and receiving faxes/emails.
You will need to keep a log of office supplies, including stationary to record what is coming in and going out, highlighting any order requirements to senior staff. You will be required to answer the office and reception telephone, deal with queries within your own area of expertise and take accurate messages as appropriate for other staff and booking appointments via their internal systems.
The post holder will need to be enthusiastic and committed to service delivery and improvement, with the ideal candidate having at least 12 months strong administration experience and a willingness to train and learn new systems and skills and be experienced in Microsoft Office. You will have an attention to detail and ability to work in a structured environment. You will be articulate, an excellent communicator and effective relationship builder!
This role will require a clear DBS to be in place, and three years referencing.
