Job Description

Admin Officer MOJ - Bradford JCSB Bradford, England

The Ministry of Justice - Admin Officer
Location: Bradford Phoenix House (office working)
Hours: Monday - Friday 9am to 5pm (37 hours)

Pay: £12.36 per hour rising to £12.53 after 12 weeks

This is an ongoing temporary position with the possibility of a further extension at the discretion of the business requirements.
Standard office 365 systems are being used such as, MS Teams, Outlook, Work, Excel, along with bespoke work systems for summoning and managing the records of jurors. Making and receiving phone calls and webchats on a separate telephony system (8x8).

Responsibilities include:

  • Processing paper summons reply
  • Process digital summons replies
  • Processing email correspondence
  • Answering phones
  • Answering webchats
  • Opening post
  • Summoning and monitoring the number of jurors due to attend each court (pool management).


What we are looking for:

Excellent customer service skills and ability to speak confidently within a team- Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
Someone looking for Long-Term temporary employment
Strong communication skills (verbal & written)
