Job Title: Assistant Events Planner
Location: Milton Keynes (Hybrid working available by arrangement)
Contract: 6-month initial contract
Department: Leadership and Personal Development Team (Temporary Contract)
About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Events Planner to join our Leadership and Personal Development Team. This customer-facing role is ideal for someone looking to take their first step in event planning and coordination, offering a rewarding experience in a fast-paced environment.
As an Assistant Events Planner, you will play a key supporting role in the seamless end-to-end delivery of Corporate Inductions, leadership and personal development events, and talent programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with external providers to arrange venues, catering, transportation, and equipment.
- Coordinate events to ensure they run smoothly.
- Manage records of expenditure and ensure the Purchase Order process is followed.
- Provide administrative support to the Training Planners.
- Maintain project plans for key events.
- Support the Leadership and Personal Development Team with ad hoc duties as required.
Requirements
Essential Criteria
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload.
- Willingness to travel (with occasional overnight stays, expenses covered).
- Experience in event or logistics planning.
- Proficiency in IT and Microsoft Office.
Desirable Criteria
- Previous experience in event planning or a training environment.

- Location: Milton Keynes (Hybrid working available by arrangement).
- Physical Requirements: Some manual handling may be required.
