Job Description
Our Public Sector Client is looking for a temporary worker to join their team as an Admin Officer. This is a currently a temporary role until June 2024 but it is highly likely this will be a temporary ongoing role. The role is 37 hours a week, working Mon - Fri, 8am - 4pm / 9am - 5pm. The pay rate is £11.88 an hour, paid on a weekly basis.
This role is fully on site due to the nature of the role.
This client is hiring for multiple departments, so the duties may vary slightly. Your day to day duties may include:
- opening mail
- sorting and filing mail
- Scanning documents
- taking mail to the correct department
- data entry on Microsoft office (word, excel) and in house systems
- updating on case progress
- using Microsoft Outlook to correspond with people internally and externally
Please note you will be required to carry out manual handling tasks - lifting and carrying box files etc. The ideal candidate for this role will have at least 12 months of admin experience.
