DVSA - Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency
ADMIN OFFICER - AO - Corporate Services

DVSA - The primary aim of the Driving and Vehicle Standards Agency is to promote road safety in Great Britain by improving driving standards.
Role Overview:
To provide admin support for the day-to-day management and control of buildings and accommodation across the DVSA CEM team portfolio to meet the business needs and aspirations of the Agency. To ensure that all payments due in respect of the DVSA estate are processed in accordance with lease/license/contract obligations and Agency policies
An excellent package is offered, including:
- £12.36 per hour pay rate
- Starting as soon as you have passed clearance checks until mid June 2025
- Accrual of up to 33 days paid annual leave pro rata available (inclusive of bank holidays)
- Working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5pm
- This role will be based in Nottingham, fully onsite
- Full training given
Key Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities may include but not be limited to:
- Dealing with the post and emails in the invoices inbox
- Scanning of files during any downtime
- Arranging landlord visits to sites with the operational team and ensuring they are carried out
- Dealing with general estate matters, queries regarding landlords works on the building, not the facilities side of things though
- Handling rent payments, rates and service charges, acquisitions and disposal
- Communicating effectively with landlords and handling any issues that need resolving
- Raising purchase orders on the SAP system for service charges, utilities, casual/room hires and good receipt
- Maintaining the Corporate Estates Management Finance database with service charge, business rates and insurance payments for all sites
What are we looking for?
- Confident in the use of Microsoft packages
- Attention to detail with the ability to engage with data
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to work to deadlines and adapt to changing circumstances
- Comfortable liaising with stakeholders, landlords, as well as operational teams
- Experience in the financial sector - banking, accounts, data management/inputting
- Desireable - procurement experience
