Job Title: Account Manager - Insurance

Location: Peterborough
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £30,000+ (Competitive salary dependent on experience)

About the Role:
Are you a proactive and driven individual with a passion for building strong client relationships? We are looking for an enthusiastic Account Manager to join our team, who are specialists in health insurance.

In this role, you will manage key business relationships, generate new opportunities, and convert leads into sales. You'll play a vital role in strengthening our connections with brokers and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Growth: Identify opportunities to increase sales, including within the sports sector, by generating leads and winning new business through verbal and written communications.
  • Lead Generation: Build contacts and develop relationships with introducers, affiliates, and key brokers through direct and introduce channels.
  • Sales Conversion: Convert enquiries into sales, identifying opportunities to upsell and expand client offerings.
  • Relationship Management: Manage and support relationships with key sports accounts, registered healthcare brokers, and intermediaries.
  • Client Communication: Maintain accurate records of client communications, including preparing quotations and renewal terms.
  • Performance Reporting: Report on key sports account performance and provide insights to the business.
  • Product Development: Support the development of new products and services.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Sales Manager to increase Corporate Healthcare volume and deliver training to brokers.
  • Industry Awareness: Stay updated on industry changes, competitor products, and adhere to FCA guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent organisational abilities with the capacity to manage appointments and meetings effectively.
  • A team player with a flexible and proactive attitude.
  • Professional, confident, and capable of building lasting relationships.
  • Insurance background (Is a must)
