Account Manager

Job Description

Brook Street are proud to be working exclusively with a renowned public sector client who are on the hunt for an Account Manager to join their Commercial Waste team.

We are looking for a dynamic individual with experience within business-to-business sales, building and maintaining relationships, while also possessing strong administration and organisation skills to be able to support the wider team when and where needed.

Hours: 8:30am/9am to 4:30/5pm

Office based in Waterbeach, 4 days a week and 1 day work from home.

Salary up to £39,800 - (Fixed term contract 3-6 months)

Start date ASAP!

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and carry out targeted sales and marketing activity in line with agreed criteria. To include direct marketing through mail, phone and visits.
  • To be able to write proposals, following up leads, having the ability to discuss and negotiate pricing and discounts
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and being able to react postively with solutions that are beneficial to the client as well as the service
  • Use of CRM system and ensuring accurate information is logged and updated.
  • A process led approach to working within a wider service/department, i.e. collaboratively with other teams.
  • Liaison with team-mates regarding service updates, customer information, invoicing requirements, and operational matters.
  • Covering the office phone/email when requested due to colleague's leave/ meetings etc.
  • Regular reporting of sales figures, pipeline information, KPIs and relevant analysis to service manager, a. Periodic review of account data to inform service direction/reporting
