Job Description

My name is Regan and I am recruiting for an amazing team of temporary staff to work a variety of hours - weekends, nights, days.  We have many work opportunities available, to suit every lifestyle!

We have a wonderful opportunity for you to test the water in this amazing temp to perm role.  It offers a period of up to 12 weeks in which you can decide if this is the right role for you.

Each of the homes we supply to is run autonomously. Within this environment you will be supported by a warm and nurturing team of staff, many of whom have worked at the home for a number of years and can provide guidance to new team members ... you could make a real difference!

This setting supports children and young adults aged 9-19 years with severe complex learning and behavioural needs, including conditions such as autism and pathological demand avoidance syndrome (PDA). They offer residential placements between 38-52 weeks, as well as an education day provision to students from neighbouring local authorities.

This job is not for the faint-hearted as you will be empowered to work with some of the most challenging young people. You will be trained and helped to support each of the young people with their mental health conditions. You will be encouraging the young people to achieve their personal goals and will become instrumental in providing them with the support network they deserve in overcoming their self-harm issues.

Your personality is key to the success of the service. If you have a sense of humour, don`t take things personally and generally have a positive outlook, then I want to hear from you.

QCF Level 3 or equivalent is desirable.

For your skills and your dedication you will get paid hourly and weekly ... depending upon how far you have to travel.

I would very much welcome the opportunity to speak to you - my name is Regan and my phone number is 0121 633 3123.

If you can`t get to the phone please email.  You don`t need a CV at this stage, I’d just like to chat about this and other work opportunities we have available.
